FINALS WEEK....AHHHHH!
This week always sneaks up on ya, and it sucks the life right out of you!
I didn't really have anything on Monday, but Wednesday I had a Spanish test, then filmed a short short film for a class, and the took another test!
Goodness. And then one class on Friday, and 2 things due on Monday, so that's good.
Unfortunately its my last real weekend here and I will be doing homework, but eh!
It is what it is no?

Happy late Cinco de Mayo.
Wow, my mind is in a blank and I can't think of anything to write.
Only 2 more days here after this :(
I really like it here, and I hope that I will be able to find a place like this to work in the future!
Umm, side note, how about that random tornado? I was driving to Fondulac and it kind of passed over me, but it was raining cats and dogs for awhile!

Well, well, well....
Again, I wish I had something ultra cool to talk about but sadly, I don't.
Yesterday I recorded some commentary for the film I was in last semester, Surface. The DVD should be out next week so I'm excited for that! There was a screening two weeks ago at the UW-Oshkosh theater and that was a really great turn out. I really like radio, but I don't mind acting, and don't mind TV so much either. Guess its good to keep your options open.

But with that said, I will be going to Milwaukee today to look at some cars.
I'm hoping that while we're there we can eat at Cafe LuLu cuz its crazy good!
If you have never eaten there, I highly recommend it!
But other than that, I'm still as boring as usual!

Good morning.
Busy day today, compared to my normally slow Thursday.
Have to make up a class today because I went on that "field trip" to Madison to tour some TV and radio studios. We ended up going to Wisconsin Public Radio/TV station, University of Wisconsin's expensive nice new shiny station, and to the community station too.
Madison was crazy nice, and although most people didn't like it there, I did.
And now I'm listening to some old JLo on Kiss since its Earth day and we are "recycling" all of our music....hmmmm!

Only like 4 weeks left here. Booo...

So only about one month left! Time is really flying by!
I'm excited for the semester to be over, but no excited to leave here!
Although I will be moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan this summer, so that should be fun. Or maybe not....! I guess we'll see!
Going onto a "field trip" this Wednesday w/ some other Radio/TV/Film majors at UW-Oshkosh to tour some radio and TV stations around Madison. Sounds ok....but I just wanted to get outta class!

So my radio show, LA MEZCLA, at our college station is doing well. Liz, the other host, and I really just wanted to have someone call in and let us know that they liked what we were doing. But with such a small frequency, we dont have much of a listener base. Most of our listeners are in the Oshkosh Correctional Facility close by. Well...We have 2 inmates have their guard call the station, and request songs, and tell us they liked the show! SUCCESS!!
